Responsibilities

Champion Safety First:?Lead by example with a safety-first mindset in every task and interaction
Client Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and build relationships with prospective customers to grow market share and to showcase American Wheatley’s features, benefits, and product lines
Territory Management: Develop and execute territory plans, including account classifications, target accounts, and growth strategies
Account Leadership: Manage customer relationships through training sessions, growth strategies, and proactive needs assessment
Sales Performance: Support company goals, consistently meet or exceed sales objectives, and achieve annual growth targets
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to align costs, scheduling, and project execution
Customer Engagement: Conduct regular account visits, attend trade shows, and represent American Wheatley at customer events
Market Intelligence: Maintain detailed account profiles including contacts, call reports, growth potential, market share, and projections
Travel Flexibility: Commit to overnight travel (up to 75%) and occasional evening/weekend events as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required
3-5 years of experience in a similar position
Up to 75% of travel required
A customer focused mindset with a result-oriented attitude
A desire to foster long term relationships with customers
The ability to rapidly learn highly technical information in a dynamic work environment
Ability to read and accurately interpret project specifications
A talent for explaining technical details in comprehensible terms
The ability to work efficiently, both independently and in a team
