Responsibilities
Performing laboratory analysis (primarily gas chromatograph) for custody quality measurement and product quality control
Providing technical support for gas chromatographs in the regional area
Managing and reporting quality data to internal/external customers throughout the region
Qualification
Required
Technical coursework beyond high school
5 years of laboratory industry experience can commensurate with Bachelor's degree
Experience with Chromatography basics (both operation and maintenance)
SQC experience in a laboratory environment, interpreting and creating control charts
Possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety
Good verbal/written communication skills, decision-making skills and a strong work ethic
Able to work well with others and able to receive constructive criticism and direction while on Shift
Must possess basic computer skills and be proficient in MS Office applications including but not limited to Excel and Word
Must be accountable and self-driven to learn and continuously develop and improve his/her skills through formalized and on-the-job training
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
Experience developing Chromatography specialized test methods and statistical data methods of quality of control
Experience with Natural Gas liquids and Liquified Petroleum Gas products
Chemical Hygiene Plan execution experience
