M&T Equipment Finance Relationship Manager - Northern CA

They are seeking an outside Regional Sales and Marketing professional to build and strengthen customer relationships and independently prospect new customers in the Northern California area.

Responsibilities

Service and expand existing relationships while developing new leads through prospecting and pursuing targeted new businesses within your assigned territory
Follow up on leads, call or visit potential customers, and develop, negotiate, leverage and nurture business relationships with industry related companies including dealers and suppliers to cultivate new and continuing business prospects
Travel within assigned territory is required
Attend trade shows and other related events
Participate in industry organizations to continually build a professional network

Required

Must reside in Northern CA area
Sales experience financing heavy equipment
Must have strong relationship skills and management
Basic exposure and ability to read and understand financial statements spreads/analysis
Ability to be self-motivated and work remotely and independently
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience

Preferred

Degree in Finance and/or Accounting preferable
Prior credit underwriting experience
Great communication skills – verbal & written. Speaking with decision-makers and business owners on a professional level
Familiarity with Uniform Commercial Code and lien perfection
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills which will be needed to communicate with management, vendors, and customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical skills
