Responsibilities
Prepares and calculate subdivision plats and site plans
Assists in peer reviews and feedback of work products
Prepares abandonment applications
Prepares special request applications
Prepares formal feasibility reports
Attends agency review meetings
Attends public meetings
Effectively communicates and coordinates with both internal and external clients
Coordinates with agency team members on all platting / abandonment applications
Assists with preparation of contracts
Mentors less experienced team members
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required; Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of related work experience as a Platting Coordinator or Technician
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Thorough understanding of subdivision platting process
Thorough understanding of agency regulations
Capable and willing to drive personal vehicle throughout region
Preferred
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
