Responsibilities
Shape the organization’s DevOps strategy and implementation through streamlining the development process and building and evolving an automated, secure, and scalable continuous delivery pipeline with high-quality, innovative product releases
Lead the design and integration of DevOps tools and technologies for deployment, monitoring, and operations of mission systems software products
Work with application teams to adopt continuous build, inspection, testing, and deployment approaches and configure and monitor DevOps performance
Participate in all aspects of DevOps Engineering and continuously promote industry standard methodologies revolving around DevOps Engineering
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Previous IT experience including software-related DevOps experience
Experience utilizing Agile software development methods
Experience with various DevOps tools such as Jira, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, GitHub, BitBucket, or Docker
Experience developing Infrastructure as Code
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
Level I Bachelors and 0-4 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Level II Bachelors and 5-8 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Level III Bachelors and 9-17 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Preferred
Experience building software or solutions using PHP, Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages and technology stacks
Experience utilizing testing practices and frameworks including automated testing suites, unit testing, and end-to-end and user-acceptance testing
Familiarization with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
