Clinical Scribe - PRN

Acadia Healthcare is looking for PRN Clinical Scribes at Sonora Behavioral Health, Arizona's largest inpatient psychiatric hospital. Responsibilities

Accurately and thoroughly document psychiatric evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries
Knowledgeable of patient charts and ability to operate electronic health record and dictation system
Anticipate physician needs to facilitate the flow of patient encounters
Assist in developing and maintaining systems to track patient follow up and compliance
Alert physician when chart is incomplete
Assist in ensuring all addenda are signed off by a physician
Comply with specific standards that apply to the style of medical records and to the legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical documents and for keeping patient information confidential
Collaborate with patient treatment teams and administrative departments including Health Information Management, Utilization Review, Admitting and Receiving, Nursing and Social Work

Required

Experience working with the adolescent population
Available for per diem during the weekdays
Accurately and thoroughly document psychiatric evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries

Bachelor's degree in health or business administration related field or Medical Assistant experience
