Neurodiagnostic Technologist I (Per Diem)

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist PD is responsible for performing diagnostic studies on infants and children, including equipment calibration and documentation processing for physicians.

Performing a variety of diagnostic studies on infants and children
Monitoring equipment calibration and set-up
Processing documentation to provide accurate information to the physician
Qualification
Required
Minimum three months of direct patient care experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with completion or enrollment of Neurodiagnostic program or experience in an EEG Laboratory
Able work in a team environment with the patience and understanding to work with the pediatric population
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction
Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail
Basic Life Support; Registered EEG Technologist
Preferred
One year of pediatric experience
Associate degree and completion of an accredited neurodiagnostic program
Bilingual – English/Spanish
