Analyst, Deployment and Itinerary Planning
Royal Caribbean Group is a leading vacation-industry company with global brands. They are seeking an Analyst for Deployment and Itinerary Planning to develop day-by-day itineraries, communicate with stakeholders, and analyze itinerary performance metrics.
Travel
Responsibilities
Writing all day-by-day itineraries for selected regions
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure berthing is available and subsequently secured
Facilitating the communication of changes to existing itineraries
Managing Open Deployment and Itinerary Modifications
Develop all day-by-day itineraries for selected regions for Silversea Cruises
Assist in the operational review of all new deployment with key stakeholders. Key stakeholders include, but is not limited to representatives from Explorations, Marine, Supply Chain, Fuel, Global Security, Tax, Guest Port Services and Shipboard Executive Committee
Manage open deployment and implement modifications as required a. Maintain list of outstanding issues b. Implement and communicate itinerary changes c. Update reservation system and Itinerary sheets to reflect any changes
Analyze itinerary performance metrics, revenue data, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
Ensure all itineraries comply with regional and global CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator) decarb and other environmental regulations. Create new itineraries which maximize appeal and profitability while reducing costs including biofuel and carbon taxes. This is imperative for extending the useful life and right to operate of our older hardware despite escalating and nebulous regulatory environment
Collaborate with the expeditions team during the development of new expedition itineraries to comply with regional regulatory constraints, operating environments, and permitting considerations
Support Charter Sales and Deployment Strategy teams to review, vet and implement charters. Constant communication will take place between charter sales and other internal departments. Partner with Marketing, Sales and PR to proof itinerary content of collateral
Coordinate with Port Operations for berthing, itinerary loading and itinerary modifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
Cruise industry knowledge and experience
Outstanding attention to detail
Outstanding organizational skills
Pro-active mindset and attitude
Excellent written and verbal English language skills and overall communication skills
Must be able to craft a professional email for correspondence with ports
Strong excel skills
Preferred
Shipping/cruise industry knowledge and experience communicating with international business contacts
AS400 knowledge
Experience in expedition cruising and small ship cruising
