Responsibilities

Collect and analyze production data related to material usage, scrap rates, and process efficiency

Identify trends and areas for improvement in material yield and waste reduction

Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues

Support and potentially lead Kaizen events focused on process optimization

Learn and apply structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and other quality methodologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different plant locations to share findings and best practices

Assist in documenting quality processes and improvement initiatives

Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and quality control checklists

Present findings and recommendations to the Quality Assurance team and other stakeholders

Required

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or similar degrees

Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Proven working experience in a team environment

Experience in systems thinking and process management

Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills

Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
