They are seeking an Estimating Intern for the Summer 2026 Internship Program, where the intern will work alongside the estimating and preconstruction team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of construction projects.

Responsibilities
Review and perform quantity survey assignment with lead estimator
Performs general sub-trade solicitation duties
Bid document control
Performs bid day assignments
Sub-trade bid reviews and recapping
Visits job sites periodically
Use of in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating)
Develops relationships with subcontractors
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Desire a career in construction Project Management, Field Supervision, or Estimating
Pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline
Any experience using the following; On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel and Word, Revit, Acrobat, and other computer software
Required to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and owners
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, and perform quantity take offs
Must be authorized to work in the US
18 years of age or older
Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from May to August
Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party
