Responsibilities
Demonstrates independent analysis of workflows, system details and technical issues associated with the applications supported
Scopes multiple major and minor enhancements in accordance with ISS standards and best practices
Analyzes new functionality via the Oracle quarterly updates and makes recommendations to the business related to implementation and changes to the system
Troubleshoots complex problems and questions from end users
Interfaces with key IT, business and operations staff to assist in the development of efficient workflows
Drives changes and makes recommendations to leadership regarding ISS processes, change management and operational workflows
Solves highly complex problems and develops solutions to tasks or projects which may be unique, using judgment and initiative with minimal oversight
Engages in multi-team and integrated solution development
Collaborates with vendors and escalates vendor issues as necessary
Facilitates meetings and provides functionality demonstrations with minimal oversight
Orients new team members
Responsible to be available to work on an on-call basis for system upgrades, go lives and departmental needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Mathematics, Healthcare Informatics or Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years work experience within information technology or applicable area of healthcare
Experience with FIN Extract, HDL Upload/HSDL, OTBI and BI Publisher
Knowledge of REST API integration
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Accounts Payable (AP) lifecycle including two- and three-way Invoice Matching and Validation, receipt and discrepancy management, tax and tolerance handling, invoice capture with widespread IDR experience, GL and distribution coding, approval hierarchy configuration through BPM and multi-format check processing (Paper/ACH/Wire) with Positive Pay and BAI2 files
Extensive experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining third-party interface integrations and data feeds, ensuring seamless connectivity and reliable data exchange across diverse platforms and systems
Extensive knowledge in implementing and supporting various financial modules e.g., Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Supplier Portal and Self-service Procurement
Extensive experience in Oracle financial cloud—P2T refresh, post-production support, upgrade testing
Well versed in cloud security
Hands-on knowledge in analyzing and designing custom roles, duties, role hierarchy, privileges, data security policies, segregation of duties and PII
Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and analyze applicability and appropriateness, and develop an efficient workflow
Experience with organizational strategies, business operations, and end-user requirements to understand system design and integration projects
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships
Preferred
Master's degree in related technology field preferred
OIC certification(s)
ITIL v4 foundation certification
