Insight Health Systems is a healthcare provider that is seeking a Unit Supply Technician. In this role, the technician will maintain supply locations throughout the hospital, manage replenishment activities, and ensure equipment readiness while adhering to confidentiality and service standards.

Responsibilities

Performs the duties required to support and maintain the Demand Flow replenishment program as described in the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

Fulfills other supply orders (on and offsite) that are not on the Demand Flow replenishment program per the delivery schedule maintained by the SCM Supervisor

Maintains order accuracy and timely reconciliation of any interruption to the supply chain

Accurately fulfills direct supply orders as requested by the clinical departments in a timely fashion

Accurately fulfills various medical supply replenishment carts (eg: Isolations, Crash Carts, Exchange, etc) at the direction of the SCM Supervisor

Ensures supplies returned to stock are appropriately transacted

Retrieves used/soiled equipment from designated holding areas throughout the hospital per the schedule provided by the SPD Supervisor

Prepares equipment for redistribution per the department SOP

Reports all damaged and unsafe equipment to the SPD Supervisor

Accounts for the processing of all charge tickets and patient charge items

Participates in various committees as requested by the SPD Supervisor

Adheres to all departmental policies and procedures in the performance of duties

Treats all information received and processed confidential

Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
