Responsibilities
Perform various ultrasound imaging procedures as ordered by doctors
Manage daily tasks to ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic setting
Be able to perform both stationary and portable exams
Accurately follow doctor's orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS
Follow correct procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories
Document patient history, including lab values, properly
Qualification
Required
Must be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
At least six months to one year of post-graduate experience is required
ARDMS registered or obtained within 6 months of hire
BLS current
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) must be obtained within 60 months of employment
RDMS-AB (RDMS Abdomen Specialty) must be obtained within 1 year of employment
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment
