Postdoctoral Research Associate, Infrastructure Monitoring & Assessment
The University of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The successful candidate will develop workflow processes and design experiments for multisensory data collection to assess pavement infrastructure conditions.

Responsibilities
Developing work-flow processes and coding them to automate processing of multisensory data from air-borne (unpiloted aerial systems) and vehicular mounted sensor systems for determining pavement functional and structural conditions
Identifying pavement field sites for multisensory data collection
Designing laboratory experiments for benchmarking sensor performances
Developing research products in form of technical reports, presentations and journal articles
Supervising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
Qualification
Required
PhD degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or related fields
Proficient in geospatial data processing
Python programming experience
Knowledge of optical, lidar, and ground penetrating radar sensing systems
General understanding of pavements and condition assessment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team setting and be self-motivated
Established publication record in peer reviewed journals
Preferred
Experience with GIS, UAV data and data processing
