Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand operational and manufacturing systems

Elicit requirements for software and data projects and translate them into suitable software and database designs

Iteratively and collaboratively implement software and data solutions as part of a team of full stack DevOps engineers

Support the work of junior team members through technical mentoring

Deliver high quality solutions through rigorous testing and continuous integration

Deploy software and data management solutions in a production environment

Provide quality documentation so your peers and customers can understand and utilize our applications and data to meet business and operational needs

Support our production solutions to maintain continuous manufacturing operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related

Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a software development role

Preferred

Understanding and experience with advanced software concepts such as: Software design patterns and how to effectively apply them, Continuous integration and deployment, Implementing effective unit tests to ensure quality, maintainable solutions

Understanding and experience with data management and business intelligence concepts such as: Query Optimization and operational observability, Data modelling of complex processes, ETL methodologies, Data analytics, dashboarding, and reporting

Familiarity with manufacturing or operations

Experience with people and technology leadership
