Qualification
Required
3-5 years of IT experience with 1-2 years in a firewall administrator/ network engineer type role, preferably with Check Point firewalls
Demonstrable experience in firewall implementation and configuration (Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.)
Demonstrable experience in firewall security patch and policy implementation
Demonstrable experience in analysis of network traffic to detect threats
Demonstrable experience in investigation of security incidents
Demonstrable experience in development of security standards, best practices, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Demonstrable experience in firewall rule identification, prioritization, and implementation
Exposure to network security technologies including Network IDS/IPS solutions, Network Security Monitoring (NSM), Switch/router ACLs, Network access control solutions, IPSec and TLS based VPNs, and SIEM logging and alerting
