Responsibilities

Perform all duties of the Imaging Technologist

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality and Safety standards, processes, and workflows

Oversee student and employee onboarding, training, and competency requirements

Provide all quality assessment activities for the assigned modality

Maintain accreditation and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with other Quality Lead Technologists to develop and maintain a consistent and robust Quality and Safety program for all Imaging Services operations

Report to the Imaging Services Associate Director of Quality and Safety

Foster a just culture and culture of safety to develop an effective and reliable quality and safety program structure through stakeholder involvement and defining program goals

Integrate continuous quality improvement and learning into the department and assigned modality across the organization

Prioritize patient and referring clinical experiences to enhance outcomes

Qualification

Radiography licenseAdvanced Registry in modalityQualitySafety standardsContinuous quality improvementTrainingOnboarding

Required

Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required

Advanced Registry in modality required, if applicable

Current Radiography ODH license required

Associates Degree in relevant field of study required

Minimum 2 years of experience in modality over which the employee is a lead
