Responsibilities

Work as part of the HV team for electrical substation design projects

Support/lead FEED design and detailed design for substation refurbishment/extensions and new-build projects

Work closely with other disciplines and clients to develop solutions

Coach and work within the wider energy team

Engage in the engineering community to drive success for clients

Required

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience as HV Substation / Primary Plant Design Engineer

Overall experience of design and specification production for HV Substation plant electrical power systems and associated power system components

Understanding of P&C aspects is preferable

Knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry

Capability to coach and work within the wider energy team

Engaged in the engineering community and understand how to drive success for clients

Ability to understand innovative solutions and industry best practices

Effective and collaborative contribution to the team through sharing knowledge, promoting ideas, and valuing the contribution of all team members

Proactive with a willingness to learn

Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related technical field
