Responsibilities
Performing technical research
Performing design calculations
Drafting figures, preparing construction plan sets, and design modeling
Preparing technical memorandums and reports
Developing cost estimates
Preparing permit applications
Conducting field data collection, performing site inspections and inventories, and performing construction observation, monitoring and reporting
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of engineering design experience
Experience with and/or interest in civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources
Appreciation for a work environment that prioritizes people, including mentoring and career growth opportunities
Value teamwork to achieve project goals
Engineer-in-training (E.I.T. or F.E.) or plans to obtain E.I.T. or F.E. within 6 months
Experienced in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or related CADD programs (not required, but this experience will allow you to hit the ground running)
Strong technical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness; and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
Interest and ability to travel to client locations and other nearby Trihydro offices
Understanding of the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills
