Responsibilities
Project management including schedule management, risk management & mitigation, subcontractor management, and coordination with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) trades on a large construction site
Team leadership including loop check & troubleshooting assistance to engineering team when necessary, accurate representation of automation team needs in site MEP & commissioning meetings
Understanding customer commissioning methodology and ability to translate to engineering/automation team
Assistance in electrical design interpretation and ability to direct onsite electricians to do their work efficiently
Qualification
Required
Project management including schedule management, risk management & mitigation, subcontractor management, and coordination with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) trades on a large construction site
Team leadership including loop check & troubleshooting assistance to engineering team when necessary, accurate representation of automation team needs in site MEP & commissioning meetings
Understanding customer commissioning methodology and ability to translate to engineering/automation team
Assistance in electrical design interpretation and ability to direct onsite electricians to do their work efficiently
Expertise in any of the following control systems & software platforms: Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, Factory Talk), Schneider (Modicon, AVEVA, Citect, PI, Wonderware/Archestra), Inductive Automation Ignition, Distech, Niagara
Electrical low voltage installation and subcontractor management experience
Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems, HVAC sequences of operation, P&IDs, instrumentation & control valves, and plant utility systems including chiller & boiler plants, and electrical switchgear & single line diagrams detailing distribution of electricity throughout a facility
Onsite commissioning experience
Understanding of Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP)
