Responsibilities
Inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify and correct potential improvements
Provide assistance in writing Standard Operating procedures, Job Manuals and other related documents
Review operators tasks and implement changes to improve Safety
Study processes to reduce water and energy across the site
Develop, support, and lead trainings for employees
Assist Managers with initiatives to include safety audits, Job Hazard Analysis, edit and update Policies and Procedures, participate in project work and incident investigation
Assist in updates, communication and review of LOTO Procedures
Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or Similar Degree)
Experience supporting manufacturing sites
Experience developing and conducting trainings
Risk assessments
Incident investigation experience
Under supervision, proactively follows up on outstanding issues
Strong analytical, prioritizing, and creative problem-solving skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, superb listening and follow-up abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Solid planning, organizational skills, and effective problem-solving skills
Strong initiative and follow-up skills
Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
