Responsibilities
Gain best-practices for business operations and working within the insurance industry
Participate in department meetings and work with multiple Plexus teams to address client needs or contribute towards current projects
Collaborate on solving problems using an analytic approach
Utilize various forms of technology to generate internal resources and external deliverables
Successfully complete an insurance-based curriculum to learn the foundation of the various forms of insurance
Observe client meetings and sales activities
Be exposed to and understand the full sales cycle
Develop written and verbal presentation skills
Be an active associate of The Plexus Groupe, participating in various company events and philanthropy initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program is required
Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Be a self-starter
Possesses analytical / problem-solving skills
Learns quickly
Enjoys teamwork and cultivating relationships
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Has work experience demonstrating strong technical and/or client service skills
Has a passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed standards
Possesses excellent Microsoft Office Excel skills, along with a proficiency and intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs
Preferred
Majors in insurance, finance, business administration or sales are preferred
