Future Opening: Land Analyst

The Land Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Texas Land team by assisting with contract preparation, document management, regulatory research, and prospect tracking, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist Landmen with agreement exhibits, attachments, and related documentation
Prepare correspondence, contracts, mineral owner presentations, and other file-related documents
Maintain organized records of all in-house generated contracts and manage document filing
Research and retrieve leases, contracts, and regulatory orders as directed
Coordinate with Landmen to ensure proper filing and recording of documents with county offices
Aggregate, analyze, and manage land-related and Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC)-related data from various sources
Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and reports

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Four (4) to six (6) years of related experience or training
Texas Oil & Gas land contract experience

Preferred

Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst (CPLTA) Certification
AAPL membership and/or certification
Familiarity with land management systems and TRRC regulatory tools
