Responsibilities

Assist in the design, analysis, and planning of engineering projects
Participate in fieldwork, data collection, and analysis
Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for clients and communities
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and project documentation
Use industry software including AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation OpenRoads Designer

Qualification

Required

Undergraduate (junior or higher) or graduate student in Transportation Engineering or a related field
Strong computer skills and proficiency with engineering software
Solid mathematics skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Availability for a 3-month internship (approximately June through August)

Preferred

Coursework in transportation engineering
Prior experience
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation OpenRoads Designer
