Hepatologist - Liver Transplant, Department of Internal Medicine (M67363 & M67364)
VCU Health is seeking full-time Hepatologists to join their expanding Liver Institute within the Department of Internal Medicine. The role involves providing clinical services, participating in inpatient management, performing diagnostic procedures, and teaching medical students and residents about liver conditions, particularly in the context of transplantation.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical services in the Hepatology clinics at VCU Health System
Participate in the inpatient management of patients with liver conditions
Perform diagnostic endoscopic procedures
Provide teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with liver conditions specifically transplant
Qualification
Required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Transplant Hepatology
Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
