Responsibilities
Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their needs and preferences
Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their requirements
Utilize effective sales techniques such as upselling to maximize revenue opportunities
Operate POS systems with accuracy and efficiency for seamless transactions
Maintain a tidy and organized store environment by restocking merchandise and arranging displays
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus to cater to diverse customer needs
Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers securely
Qualification
Required
High School education level
Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in furniture or jewelry sales
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering exceptional customer service
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
Strong communication skills with fluency in English
Capable of standing or walking for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Flexibility to bend, kneel, squat, and stoop as needed for customer assistance and merchandise organization
Reach overhead or below waist level comfortably for product handling
Preferred
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
Knowledge of Spanish is beneficial
