Radiology Technologist

They are seeking a reliable and certified Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records while traveling between clinic locations.

Responsibilities
Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring diagnostic image quality and adherence to established protocols
Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation
Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting technical parameters as needed for optimal image acquisition
Ensure imaging quality and accuracy while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
Ensure timely and accurate interpretation of scans
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS systems
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Adhere to radiation safety procedures and ALARA principles to protect patients, staff, and self
Travel to different clinic locations as scheduled to provide coverage or support
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report malfunctions promptly
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education to maintain certification and licensure
Qualification
Required
ARRT Certification (Required)
Current CRT and Fluoroscopy Permit (if applicable)
1–3 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between locations
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (preferred)
Preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CT imaging
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic positioning
Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems (e.g., GE, Philips, Siemens platforms)
