Responsibilities

Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers focused on the development of hardware for integrated vehicle test venues
Provide technical guidance for the team in addressing projects with broad scope and limited definition to ensure test and design objectives are met
Develop innovative integrated test systems comprehensive of hardware to optimize and improve test execution capabilities and processes
Define team growth expectations and organization strategy
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure team and project success
Communicate fluidly across a variety of teams to identify product risks and how they will be addressed to ensure mission success
Juggle multiple priorities while optimizing the system and schedule
Conduct cause of error analysis and drive issue resolutions to improve team and process performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
5+ years of hands-on testing experience
2+ years of experience managing direct reports in a cross-disciplinary team
5+ years of experience in design and validation of hardware/software systems
5+ years of experience in a development environment
5+ years of experience with integration of complex systems
Solid understanding of Engineering and Testing fundamentals

Preferred

Master's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
5+ years experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems
5+ years of experience with integration and testing of satellite hardware
3+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, C)
5+ years of experience in development of test plans and protocols related to established Space Hardware test processes (GEVS / SMC-S-016)
