Responsibilities

Research, implement, and optimize audio features on Apple's products
Collaborate with multiple teams across product development, Acoustics, Audio Software, and others to integrate ideas into products and build future technologies

Qualification

Required

Hands-on experience in generative machine learning
Hands-on experience developing machine learning pipelines
Research experience in audio algorithm development using machine learning (released product features, patents, papers, etc.)
Proficiency in Python and common software engineering practices

Preferred

MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Experience with multimodal encoding, diffusion, flow matching, distillation
Familiarity with developing ML for resource-constrained devices
Familiarity with developing real-time speech and audio processing software
Familiarity with psycho-acoustics, speech, and language modeling
