Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Speech, Oratory, or Communication or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Speech, Oratory, or Communication is required
The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching
All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours
Candidates should demonstrate a mastery of their specific discipline
Candidates should demonstrate a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence
Candidates should demonstrate technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies
Candidates should demonstrate the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives
Candidates should have experience using various educational technological mediums
Preferred
PhD preferred
Prior college teaching experience is preferred
