Responsibilities
Architect cloud-agnostic, multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep
Design and deploy containerized environments with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift)
Explore serverless computing, edge computing, and AI-driven cloud automation
Drive innovation in cloud security, compliance, and zero-trust architectures
Design and build next-generation applications using modern open-source frameworks
Develop high-performance microservices, event-driven architectures, and API ecosystems
Lead prototyping and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to explore disruptive technologies
Implement AI/ML-powered applications, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation
Foster an open-source-first mindset, continuously evaluating emerging tech stacks
Architect high-scale data platforms leveraging data lakes, real-time streaming, and analytics
Develop cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow
Optimize performance for NoSQL/SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.)
Experiment with AI-driven data insights, predictive analytics, and autonomous data governance
Spearhead machine learning integration for data-driven applications
Create and present technical roadmaps, solution architectures, and future-state models
Rapidly prototype and iterate on innovative solutions to solve business and mission challenges
Identify and champion emerging technologies to enhance performance, security, and scalability
Collaborate with teams to drive digital transformation initiatives within federal agencies
Qualification
Required
Active current clearance level is required
10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Data Engineering, and Application Development
Proven hands-on expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Deep knowledge of open-source frameworks, DevSecOps, and full-stack development
Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, Rust, SQL, Spark, or other modern languages
Strong background in innovation, rapid prototyping, and emerging technology adoption
Experience with high-performance distributed systems, AI-driven automation, and security-first design
Ability to diagram, document, and communicate complex architectures effectively
Preferred
Experience leading cloud and AI/ML innovation initiatives
Familiarity with blockchain, quantum computing, and next-gen cybersecurity
Certified Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
