Responsibilities
Efficiently complete assigned tasks and work orders to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
Maximize personal output to support overall team efficiency and achieve operational goals
Consistently perform all duties to a high standard, ensuring product integrity and customer satisfaction
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Perform and complete all assigned tasks such planting, pruning, hoeing, staking, moving product, loading, and other tasks safely
Complete all assigned tasks on work orders within the scheduled timeframe, minimizing delays and ensuring timely completion
Handle and care for the product correctly, minimizing product damage
Inspect all products for quality and defects before, during, and after completing assigned tasks
Follow established procedures and guidelines for each task to ensure high-quality results
Report on any product quality issues or concerns to the Manager promptly
Operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move and load materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Promote and foster company’s core values
Other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years working experience in the landscaping, nursery, garden center, or a related industry or labor-intensive physical role
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English
