Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner

NuvoAir is dedicated to improving healthcare experiences for patients with complex conditions like COPD and congestive heart failure. The Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner will lead a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients with lung disorders, both in-clinic and via telehealth, while establishing individualized care plans and supporting patient engagement with technology.

Responsibilities

Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide world class care to patients with common lung disorders including COPD, asthma and sleep apnea
Care for patients in-clinic and via telehealth during normal business hours Monday-Friday
Establish care plan for each patient and supervise team based administration of the care plan
Explain the benefits of NuvoAir Medical’s technology and team based model to patients and support regular engagement with our team
Collaborate with referring physicians and other members of the care team

Required

A passion for innovation, and quality improvement
Experience working with Pulmonary patients
A willingness to build value in a new and innovative medical practice
Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to be personable and supportive of patients and a multidisciplinary team
Experience providing culturally competent, patient centered care, including telehealth
Ability to provide engaging and effective clinical training and mentorship for clinical and non-clinical teams
Strong computer skills & competence with telemedicine tools & EMR documentation
Tolerance or appetite for change and some degree of ambiguity that comes with working in a startup environment
