Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC Swiss programs (9–12 axis machinery)
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to create accurate toolpaths
Select and design cutting tools, collets, grippers, and inspection fixtures
Collaborate with machinists and setup teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Support high-volume and lights-out machining with effective tool life and coolant management
Write inspection plans, setup sheets, and work instructions
Troubleshoot and improve machining processes
Lead and mentor team members on advanced machining techniques
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years' experience setting up and running CNC Swiss machinery (Citizen preferred; Star or Tornos accepted)
Minimum 5 years' experience programming using CAM systems (Esprit, Partmaker, SolidCAM, Mastercam, or equivalent)
Proven expertise in multiaxis milling and micromachining of complex parts (3D surfaces, thin-walled structures, angular features)
Strong knowledge of G-code programming
Experience with a wide variety of materials, including titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, and plastics
High school diploma required; advanced technical training preferred
Experience with unattended, high-volume, lights-out machining environments
