Global Nomadic is a surfing-inspired sustainable development non-profit NGO focused on improving poor Peruvian coastal communities through sustainability initiatives. They are seeking Research Volunteers to support various social and scientific projects while gaining hands-on experience in international development and research.

Responsibilities

Gain personal hands-on experience working with a growing Peruvian NGO

Work in local initiatives with passionate people making a real difference to the community

Learn from educational seminars given by Directors on topics including international development, NGO/social enterprise creation and management, marketing and outreach, research techniques and more

Develop your own research project aligned with the NGO's work and focus

Receive ongoing guidance throughout the research process from the experienced team

Required

Minimum 2 weeks commitment for the placement

Ability to work in a local initiative with passionate people

Open to enhancing your CV and gaining professional hands-on experience managing sustainable projects in an international development NGO
