Start in 2026 SummerWalker Consultants is excited to offer a Structural Engineering Internship in their Tampa office. In this role, you’ll support engineers with structural design, restoration, and forensic work, contributing to innovative solutions for clients.

Responsibilities
Assist project engineers with structural analysis, calculations, and design tasks
Support field investigations, site visits, and condition assessments of existing structures
Help prepare drawings, reports, and technical documentation
Collaborate with engineers on restoration, forensic, and design projects
Gain exposure to industry software, standards, and best practices
Contribute to real projects that impact communities and clients
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering
Strong foundation in structural analysis and design principles
Interest in restoration, forensics, and problem-solving within the built environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering software
