Foundation Litigation Fellow (Fall 2026)
AARP Foundation is dedicated to ending senior poverty by advocating for vulnerable individuals over 50. They are seeking a third-year law student passionate about litigation to conduct legal research, draft documents, and assist in civil discovery to support their mission.

Responsibilities
Conduct legal research
Draft memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
Assist in civil discovery
Interview current and potential clients
Work with outside co-counsel
Participate in litigation strategy
Qualification
Required
Graduating (class of 2026) law student
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with WESTLAW and other legal research platforms
Significant experience with The Blue Book A Uniform System of Citation
Demonstrated public interest/public service interest or experience
Regular and reliable job attendance
Exhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships
Independent judgment in evaluation options to make sound decisions
In office/open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noise
