Responsibilities

Work with clients to deliver safe, responsible, and innovative solutions

Work with geologists, geotechnical engineers, and civil engineers to help design mine access, determine mining methods, mine development, and mine infrastructure. Prepare mine development and production plans and schedules

Estimate performance productivities and support the preparation of capital and operating costs

Attend meetings and interface with clients, external consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and/or vendors

Participate in technical reviews

Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers

Supports the development of standards and specifications for the mining group

Prepare technical reports

Support business development efforts and proposal preparation

International or national travel can be expected with the possibility of extended stays. Travel time may be as much as 25% to 50% of the time based on business needs

Minimum Experience (Total Years): 8
