Electrical & Controls Engineering Intern

The Electrical & Controls Engineering Intern will assist in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and testing of electric over hydraulic control systems while promoting safety and effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities
Understand, follow, and enforce shop safety practices and policy
Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers
Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oshkosh Way. Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures
Promote a people first culture by integrating into and contributing to a cohesive team with creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Ability to build and install wire harnesses
Ability to follow written test procedures
Ability to learn and operate a Digital-Multimeter (DMM)
Troubleshoot electrical controls related process and component issues
Instrumentation and controls debugging
Start-up and qualification of control systems on new equipment
Execute controls projects under the guidance of engineering
Other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Perusing a bachelor's in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering or a related field
Understand, follow, and enforce shop safety practices and policy
