Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
Manage project scheduling and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing and construction environments to integrate system designs
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system automation and control
Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in mechanical design
Perform data analysis and collection to support research initiatives and system improvements
Develop schematics for various systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Engage in laboratory experiments to validate designs and prototypes
Use programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB for scripting tasks related to system functionality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantum Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in systems engineering with a focus on system design and mechanical knowledge
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology for accurate modeling
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
Preferred
Experience in research methodologies applicable to engineering projects
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and construction practices
