Responsibilities

Creation of easement exhibits and legal descriptions

Research and analysis of parcel and right of way boundaries

Responsible for creating and revising drawings depicting existing conditions for various engineering projects in CAD platforms

Coordinating with technical personnel to gather and record data for design projects

Communication and coordination with multi-disciplinary groups

Document organization and record keeping

Required

Associate's degree (AAS) or Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Surveying and Mapping or Geomatics

Equivalent experience with AAS degree – associate's degree and 2-5 years of experience in computer aided drafting and/or in civil/survey drafting work

Experience in many aspects of surveying: boundary analysis and research; title report review; reduction, review and mapping of data for topographic surveys; writing legal descriptions

Knowledge of point cloud software and processes a plus

Firm understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation

High level of attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a team environment, working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines

Must possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time

Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Valid Driver's License is required
