Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in the Atlantic County region. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound studies, ensuring high-quality patient care, and working closely with Radiologists.

Responsibilities

Performing all requested ultrasonographic exams in accordance with established policy and as per established hours of availability

Reviewing all patient requests for diagnostic procedures as to designated anatomical part and clinical history

Instructing patients regarding procedures and respects patient privacy at all times

Ensures that the ultrasound equipment is in excellent operational condition as per established Quality Control procedures; and

Performing other duties as required and assigned

Required

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with the ability to perform all aspects of Sonography with expertise - General, Vascular, Breast and procedures

ARDMS Registered

American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS Certification required prior to start of employment

Intermediate computer skills

Knowledge of all Ultrasound operations, including diagnostic imaging equipment

Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision

Ability to produce high quality images and provide documentation accurately and precisely

Ability to exercise high standards of professionalism and teamwork

Strong problem solving, decision making and communication skills

Displays strong work ethic with a friendly and cheerful disposition
