Ultrasound Technologist - Weekend Nights
HCA Florida Blake Hospital is committed to creating a world-class experience for each patient and is currently seeking an enthusiastic Ultrasound Technologist for weekend nights. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, performing sonogram examinations, and maintaining effective communication with radiologists.
Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner
Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images
Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results
Qualification
Required
A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program
Valid ARDMS certification -- RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
Availability on weekend nights is necessary for this opportunity
