Ultrasound Technologist - Weekend Nights

The role involves preparing and positioning patients, performing sonogram examinations, and maintaining effective communication with radiologists.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner
Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images
Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results

Required

A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program
Valid ARDMS certification -- RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
Availability on weekend nights is necessary for this opportunity
