Provides professional support to internal and external customers that meet the needs of their diverse age and cultural backgrounds

Acts as a resource for staff members

Demonstrates ability to assess the need for, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality, cost-effective educational programs for staff

Maintain educational records

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates orientation programs for new staff

Assists in development of competencies for clinical staff

Collaborates with other departments/nursing areas to ensure consistency and to avoid duplication

Promotes the advancement of nurses by offering a variety of learning opportunities planned for nurses in different stages of the Novice to Expert continuum
