Responsibilities
Apply stain/china paint to ceramic pieces in an efficient manner in compliance with the Mackenzie-Childs’ high-quality standards
Move pieces to and from racks and workstations
Data entry for labor recording and tracking
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Attention to detail required for maintaining high quality standards for size, shape and color of paint applications
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on improving efficiencies and maintaining quality
Strong work ethic and ability to self motivate in an individualized work environment
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
Requires organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, crouch, kneel, bend, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists
Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects
Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operations, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation
Preferred
