Assistant Professor of Accounting
Lincoln University of Missouri is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member for the School of Business to teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses. The successful candidate will also engage in research, academic advising, and participate in program assessments and recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities
Teach Accounting, Finance, and Business-related courses in classroom and online modalities at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Research in accordance with tenured faculty requirements
Assist students with academic advising
Prepare course syllabi for assigned courses that meet the needs of students according to university policy and accreditation requirements
Participate in the development of assessments and evaluation of courses and the program for continuing improvement
Maintain professional development according to personal and professional need
Assist in recruitment efforts for the program by participating in university recruitment events and communicating with interested students
Assist with ACBSP reporting
Other duties as assigned
Responsible for other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or D.B.A in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent terminal degree(s) or ABD with completion date of Spring 2026 from a regionally accredited university
Demonstrated record of outstanding teaching effectiveness
Demonstrated record of high quality intellectual & scholarly activity
Related Industry or consulting experience
Preferred
CPA certification desired
Master's degree in accounting with CPA certification
Professional certifications: (CPA, CMA, or CIA)
