Responsibilities
Developing Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies and plans that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and ensuring the sales team meets or exceeds sales targets
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting and reporting. Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and make data-driven decisions
Sales Closure Leadership: Drive the closing phase of the sales cycle by guiding the team through negotiations, resolving any last-minute issues, and ensuring contracts are signed to secure new business
Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive business growth and open new sales channels
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and adjust tactics as needed
Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance sales performance
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to sales performance, such as market shifts or competitive threats
Qualification
Required
7 years+ of experience in the Specialty Chemicals sector within the relevant geographic area
Should be a P&L owner and a leader
A proven track record of successful client engagement and acquisition, ideally as a partner or senior consultant
Should have good commercial understanding
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
Demonstrated sales / business development capabilities
