Student Intern for the Office of Workforce Development and Upward Mobility
The State University of New York is seeking a motivated student intern for the Office of Workforce Development and Upward Mobility. This role involves supporting initiatives that promote internship and applied learning opportunities across SUNY's campuses, while gaining hands-on experience in workforce development and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and updating internship opportunity listings, contact databases, and tracking spreadsheets
Help create and edit outreach materials including email templates, flyers, intern toolkits, and social media posts
Support survey and data collection efforts by preparing survey links, tracking responses, and helping summarize findings
Participate in internal meetings and assist with scheduling, notetaking, and follow-up communications
Conduct basic research on employers, labor market trends, and internship models to inform program planning
Assist with documentation and organization of shared resources used across the SUNY internship ecosystem
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a SUNY campus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Interest in career development, public higher education, or workforce initiatives
Ability to work independently and take initiative when appropriate
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Canva, survey tools (Microsoft Forms, Google Forms), and social media platforms
