Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of Juniper Mist wireless systems
Leverage Mist AI and Marvis to proactively enhance wireless performance
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of wireless engineers to ensure timely project delivery
Oversee Fortinet firewall configuration and wireless edge security integration
Conduct advanced wireless site surveys, RF design, and multi-site planning
Develop and maintain wireless heatmaps, documentation, and troubleshooting procedures
Collaborate with network security, cloud, and systems teams to ensure secure wireless access
Create and enforce wireless policies, NAC, and segmentation models for enterprise use cases
Qualification
Required
7–10 years in enterprise wireless network engineering
5+ years working with Juniper Mist wireless solutions
1–3 years of hands-on Fortinet firewall deployments
Proven leadership/supervisory experience managing wireless engineers
Mandatory: Juniper Mist Certified Specialist (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of 802.11 standards, RF design, and wireless security protocols
Hands-on experience with Mist dashboard, Marvis, and AI-driven optimization
FortiOS policy development, threat response, and Wi-Fi integration
Experience with Python, APIs, and automation frameworks for wireless analytics
Secure guest access, NAC, and identity-based wireless segmentation
Strong documentation and wireless operations playbook development
Preferred
CWNP, CCNP Wireless, JNCIP-ENT, or similar vendor certifications
Bonus: Fortinet NSE Level 4 or higher
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Strategic thinker with technical depth in wireless networking
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Passionate about AI-driven wireless innovation
Effective communicator across technical and business stakeholders
