Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) to join their imaging services team. This role involves performing high-quality CT examinations on diverse patient populations under general supervision, ensuring adherence to established protocols for physician interpretation.

Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician
Other duties as deemed necessary

Qualification

CT CertificationRadiologic TechnologyBLS CertificationARRT RegistrationACLS Certification

Required

Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology
Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
Licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association
One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist as well as CT
Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification
Must be CPR certified
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
0-2 years of modality specific experience
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
ARRT CT Registration required within 1 year in position
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider

Preferred

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
